I started Honor Student Tax Co. because I know what it's like to run a business on your own and to feel like the tax and bookkeeping help out there was built for someone bigger than you.
After running my own small business, I realized the part I enjoyed most was the numbers. That sent me back to school for accounting and eventually led me to earning my IRS Enrolled Agent designation.
Now I bring both sides of that experience — real-world business ownership and formal accounting training — to freelancers and small business owners who need someone who understands self-employment, not just the numbers on a tax return.
